B-Laundry Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of services provided by Phearl LLC, a California limited liability company located in Los Angeles County, doing business as B-Laundry ("B-Laundry," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing our website, mobile application (when available), or using any B-Laundry services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use our services.

1. Eligibility & Age Restriction

• B-Laundry services are available only to individuals who are at least 18 years of age.
• Minors are strictly prohibited from accessing, using, or placing orders through B-Laundry.
• You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under California law.

2. Nature of Service (Logistics Platform)

• B-Laundry does not perform laundry or dry-cleaning services.
• B-Laundry operates solely as a logistics coordination and referral platform, facilitating pickup, coordination with independent third-party providers, and return delivery.
• All cleaning services are performed exclusively by third-party providers.

3. No Agency, Partnership, or Bailment

• B-Laundry is not an agent, employee, partner, joint venturer, insurer, or fiduciary of any third-party provider.
• No bailment is created; B-Laundry’s role is limited to logistics coordination and transport facilitation.
• Third-party providers operate independently and are solely responsible for the cleaning services they perform.

4. Pricing & Payment

• Wash & Fold services are priced by weight (per pound).
• Dry Cleaning services are priced by item.
• Payment may be required before service, after service, or via subscription, at B-Laundry’s discretion.
• All prices are subject to change without notice.
• Taxes, fees, and surcharges may apply where required by law.

5. Transfer of Possession & Allocation of Risk

• Items are accepted “AS IS” at the time of pickup.
• B-Laundry does not perform cleaning services.
• To the maximum extent permitted by California law, B-Laundry is not responsible for loss, damage, shrinkage, discoloration, delay, misdelivery, or deterioration of items.
• Any compensation for damaged items is handled solely by the third-party provider.

6. Prohibited & High-Risk Items

Customers must not include any of the following items:

• Cash or financial instruments
• Jewelry or valuables
• Electronics or batteries
• Personal, confidential, or legal documents
• Luxury, designer, vintage, irreplaceable, or sentimental items

B-Laundry assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to such items.

7. Pockets & Item Inspection

• B-Laundry does not guarantee that pockets will be checked.
• Third-party providers may or may not inspect items.
• Damage caused by items left in pockets is the customer’s sole responsibility.

8. No Warranties

Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

• Fabric preservation
• Colorfastness
• Shrinkage prevention
• Stain removal
• Timely completion

9. Limitation of Liability

• B-Laundry shall not be liable for loss, damage, theft, shrinkage, discoloration, delay, misdelivery, or destruction of items.
• Total aggregate liability shall not exceed fifty dollars ($50) per order.
• Any assistance provided is voluntary and does not constitute an admission of liability.

10. Exclusion of Indirect Damages

• Emotional distress
• Loss of use or value
• Loss of opportunity
• Academic, professional, or personal consequences

11. Claims Process

• Any issue must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
• Claims submitted after this period are waived.
• Photographic or other evidence may be required.
• Filing a claim does not guarantee investigation or resolution.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless B-Laundry, Phearl LLC, and their respective members, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims or losses arising from items you provided, your violation of these Terms, or acts/omissions of third-party providers.

13. Force Majeure

B-Laundry is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control.

14. Mandatory Binding Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

Please read carefully. This affects your legal rights.

• Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration administered by the AAA.
• Arbitration takes place in Los Angeles County, California unless otherwise required by law.
• You and B-Laundry waive the right to a jury trial.
• Disputes must be brought individually, not as a class or representative action.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

16. Automatic Renewals (Future)

If subscription services are offered, they will comply with California’s Automatic Renewal Law.

17. Severability & Savings Clause

If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder shall remain in effect.

18. Modification of Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after revisions constitutes acceptance.

19. Acceptance

By using B-Laundry, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
